Individual advice
about diving medicine via e-mail, telephone, or letter in German
and English language. |
What do I not offer? |
Telephone-diagnostic or fitness-certificates without thorough, personal physical examination. |
How does it work? |
If you address me with a question about diving medicine, it is important for me to know, how much knowledge you have already about this topic and where you have got this knowledge from. This enables me to answer more individually and more specifically adapted to your skills and knowledge. You can ask your questions via e-mail, mail or telephone. |
The German Medical Associations Code of Conduct requires that medical services including medical advice may not be rendered at no charge. Being a line officer I am not entitled to participate in the collective charging of the German insurance system. I therefore charge according to the „GOÄ“ (Gebührenordnung für Ärzte, official medical fee schedule) with a normal invoice. Thus I need a mailing-address of the patient which will be stored. Once the bill is settled, the address will be deleted again. You are therefore kindly requested to give me your postal address when you ask your questions. |
I have to point out, that I have no influence on the confidentiality of medical details when e-mail is used. |
